I’m going to be real, this past month has been a wild ride. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been in a really good way, but it took the biscuit last week with me travelling to London (for under 24 hours), Champagne and the Lake District in the space of six days. Let’s just say I’m now enjoying being back at my desk, writing away and returning to the comfort of a routine (read: keeping on top of my washing basket).
Let’s get back to my picks of the week.
On Friday we had dinner at Stockbridge Eating House - the new venture from Dale Mailley (the brains behind legendary Edinburgh restaurants the Gardener’s Cottage and The Lookout) - and it was brilliant. Checked tablecloths with disposable paper on top, bistro curtains, a daily-changing chalkboard menu and they’re also open for breakfast?! Look out for my content on this spot coming very soon!
Thoughts are now turning to the festive season and I can reveal that this year I will finally be doing gift guides!!
